Every equipment manufacturer claims reliable products. The claim is nearly universal and nearly useless as an evaluation criterion unless it is backed by something specific: operating history, production control, failure data, or field validation.

That feedback loop does not exist for newer entrants, regardless of their resources.

ICI holds in-house electrical, refrigeration, and sheet metal fabrication capabilities. Production control is complete — quality is not subcontracted, assembled from third-party components, or dependent on overseas supply chains.

What drives beverage equipment failure in commercial settings

Understanding what causes failure is the fastest way to evaluate whether a system will hold up in your operation. The three most common failure drivers in commercial beverage dispensing are:

  • Temperature inconsistency: Cooling systems that cannot maintain stable temperature across the full line run produce warm beer, foam complaints, and flat soda. ICI’s glycol beer systems are rated for consistent temperature delivery across runs up to 150 feet.
  • Component quality under continuous load: Commercial equipment runs 16+ hours a day in environments with temperature swings, cleaning chemicals, and high-volume stress. Components specified for lower-load or consumer-grade applications degrade faster in these conditions.
  • Parts availability at time of failure: A failed component is recoverable. A failed component with a three-week parts lead time is an operational crisis. ICI manufactures domestically — parts ship from California, not from overseas warehouses.
